
Shakespeare for Performance the newly revised Examination Syllabus valid for LAMDA Exams from January 2024. Shakespeare for Performance is designed to replace the Shakespeare graded exam syllabus and be more inclusive and engaging, harking back to the Bard's intentions behind the plays, that they were designed to be performed not read.
- Available in three levels (instead of Grades 1-8)
- Each syllabus is available individually or as a bundle.
- The syllabi feature set pieces to make it easier for teachers to approach the subject matter
Choosing a level
While there aren't any strict minimum or maximum age restrictions on our Exams, the below age ranges for the levels can be used for guidance:
Level One: is ideal for those just entering the world of performance (e.g Primary School and under 12s)
Level Two: is aimed at those with some level of performance experience (Early teens)
Level Three: is designed for those with a strong base of performance skills & wanting to develop their Shakespeare skills further (Late teens)
