Verse and Prose Anthology Volume 19

Verse & Prose Anthology: Volume 19 contains the set pieces needed for examinations taken until 31 July 2024.

From 1 August 2024, the new syllabi comes into effect, after which the pieces contained in Verse & Prose Anthology: Volume 19 can be used for own choice selections during examinations.

This anthology presents the set selection for Learners entering:

• LAMDA graded exams in Communication: Speaking Verse and Prose (from 1 August 2019) for Entry Level to Grade 8
• LAMDA Introductory graded exams (from 1 August 2019) at Stage One, Two and Three (Solo and Group)

With a foreword by Valerie Bloom, the collection includes carefully chosen verse and prose pieces from a wide variety of international authors – many of whom have been recognised for their craft: some are celebrated authors of the past and others are bestselling authors of today.

For the LAMDA exams student, the verse and prose pieces explore a range of diverse themes from around the world; providing the Learner with different characters and worlds to explore, while studying for their examinations and practicing their communication skills.
